Quilt Robe/Coat Tree of Life

This gorgeous Tree of Life appliqué quilt is so stunningly beautiful it practically went viral for me on TikTok! A show stopper! This quilt was cut from a large coat pattern. Coats are made to be worn over sweaters and other warm clothes making this the perfect great fit you wear a large! Or a fantastic over-sized coat or robe if you are a small or medium. You can have the sleeves straight down or cuff them. I made sure to put the pretty material inside the bottom of sleeve for cuffing. The red and white gingham bias tape (aka trim) I hand cut. Seams are done in a 3-step process called French seams. Oh, and my husband wants you to know “It has pockets!” Two nice sized pockets, one on each side of the hip.

* As to be expected there are some pieces of appliqué that are more worn than others. There are no rips or tears in the quilt itself there is a light yellowing towards the back top shoulder which is mostly covered by collar. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.*
